1 Singapore, Singapore – 3 October 2017 – The International Sports Academy (“ISA”) is delighted to announce that it has entered into a partnership with the renowned Edith Cowan University (“ECU”) to offer the Bachelor of Science (Exercise and Sports Science) programme out of its campus at Kallang Wave Mall, Singapore.
2 This partnership provides an opportunity for students in Singapore to benefit from ECU’s world-class curriculum and education in the area of exercise and sports science, and obtain a degree widely recognised as one of the best in the world. ECU has received international recognition for the quality of its Sports Science program, ranking among the top 20 universities world-wide in Shanghai Ranking’s 2017 global ranking of Sports Science Schools and Departments, and 3rd in Australia.
3 ISA COO Joel Lim says: “We are excited to be able to enhance our close ties with ECU. We have been working closely with ECU in offering numerous programmes and events over the past year, and working together to offer ECU’s leading programme in Sports and Exercise Science is the natural step for us to take in our bid to offer quality education to the sporting, wellness and health fraternity in Singapore. 4 Professor Robert Newton, Associate Dean, Medical and Exercise Sciences and Co-Director of the Exercise Medicine Research Institute, School of Medical and Health Sciences at ECU, says: “ECU has been offering our exercise and sports science degree in Singapore for over 15 years and we are very pleased to be able to continue in partnership with ISA to produce high-quality graduates for Singapore who are workplace ready.
