Mark Chay
MARK CHAY is the Academic Director at ISA and represented Singapore at the Olympic Games in 2000 and 2004. He is a multiple gold medallist and record holder at the Southeast Asian (SEA) Games. In 2002, he was given the honour of Singapore’s flag bearer at the Busan Asian Games, and was awarded the Sportsman of the Year in 2002, as well as Sportsboy of the Year in 2001 by the Singapore National Olympic Council (SNOC) and Singapore Sports Council (SSC) for his achievements in swimming.

Currently, Mark is a member of the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) and SNOC Athletes Commissions where he represents the rights of athletes across Asia. Mark is also a member of the Asian Olympians Association Executive Board, which is responsible for spreading Olympic values and culture in the region.
​
With his wealth of experience, Mark is well placed to impart his knowledge in the area of sports coaching, sports administration and sports management to ISA's students.

Joel Lim
JOEL LIM is a director of ISA, and the main advisor behind ISA’s suite personal development programmes and workshops. Trained in various coaching inventories, Joel is adept at bringing out the best performances in teams.

Being a serial entrepreneur, Joel founded Spiritmakers, a student development company providing courses for students of various levels (from Pre-School to University). Under Joel’s directions, Spiritmakers has trained over 6,000 students from over 50 education institutions, ranging from Choa Chu Kang Kinderland, ChongFu Primary School, Gongshang Primary School, NUS High School, Victoria School, Hwa Chong Institution, Yishun Junior College, National University of Singapore and Nanyang Technological University of Singapore.

With his years of experience and training as a lawyer, Joel is also well placed to impart his knowledge and experience to the students in the area of sports management and administration.

Mohamed Faizul Bin Abdul Wahid
Faizul has been in the sports industry for a very long time. With a degree in in Sports and Exercise Science from Edith Cowan University in Australia, he has presented and published works in several journals, including the International Journal of Sports Science and Coaching, and the British Journal of Sport Medicine.
Faizul was once a competitive tennis player and coach. Over the course of his career, he managed several national players, elite athletes and school teams. He was a Sports Physiologist at the Singapore Sports Institute for 6 years and the lead consultant for Nike Singapore Level Up, offering nationwide football training programmes and assessments in 2008. His strength lies in his research skills, team management, and communication techniques. As such he is a highly qualified instructor and educator in the ISA, providing excellent guidance and a fruitful learning experience.

Nicholas Koh
Nicholas has a degree in Physical Education and Sports Science from Loughborough University in the UK. He has taught in various primary schools since 1992 and became a lecturer in the school of Sports, Health & Leisure in Republic Polytechnic in 2010. His vast experience in teaching allows him to effectively communicate with students in order to inculcate the knowledge and skills they require, and benefit as much as they can from the courses he teaches. His passion for teaching and care for students ensures that students have a well-rounded learning experience, creating an environment that promotes the attainment of greater knowledge.

Richard Chng
An individual with an immense passion for sports, Richard obtained a degree in Exercise Science from the Auckland University of Technology after graduating from the Singapore Sports School, where he represented the nation in Swimming.
​
During his undergraduate academic years in New Zealand, Richard had the opportunity to work with various renowned Sports Scientists at the High Performance Sport New Zealand. He also worked closely with Olympic Swimmers to explore the reliability and validity of a pull up power test, which contributed largely to his dissertation. Richard was presented with the opportunity to work alongside the 2012 New Zealand Olympic Swim Team as an assistant strength and conditioning coach.

Upon his return to Singapore, Richard combined his passion for coaching with his knowledge in sports science to nurture and develop National Youth Swimmers.
​
At ISA, Richard constantly strives to share his knowledge and passion for sports with the next generation of sports science enthusiast.

Raymond Wong
Raymond has a wealth of experience in the sports and fitness industry.
Apart from obtaining his degree in Sports Science and Management from Nanyang Technological University, and a diploma in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Republic Polytechnic, Raymond is also a qualified personal trainer having obtained his certification from American Council on Exercise, as well as a qualified strength and conditioning specialist from the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
Raymond has a great passion for learning and teaching. He also has a 2-star award in Kayaking from the Singapore Canoe Federation, making him a very well-rounded educator in the ISA. He provides much knowledge in a fun and enjoyable manner, and strongly believes in what he does, thus creating a wonderful learning experience.
