Exercise is medicine for Cancer
Materials presented by Professor Robert Newton from Edith Cowan University at the recently concluded Singapore Convention on Health, Fitness and Sports.

During the presentation, Professor Robert Newton touched upon topics relating to how exercise could assist in managing and treating chronic diseases such as cancer.
​
Professor Robert Newton has also kindly made his slides available to ISA to be distributed to anyone who is interested in this topic.

Athletic Training in the 21st Century
The world renowned trainer, Mr. Gary Vitti from Los Angeles Lakers recently presented at the Singapore Convention on Health, Fitness and Sports.
​
During the presentation, Mr. Vitti touched upon various topics relating to athletic training, in particular on disposing factors relating to injury and sports performance, and the various exercises and treatment methods available to treat, and most importantly, to prevent these injuries.
​
Mr. Vitti has also kindly agreed to provide these slides to participants of SCHFS, and all individuals who are interested in this topic.

Achieving Peak Performance: Periodisation and Injury Prevention
Prominent tennis coach, Mr. Alan Ma from Star River Professional Tennis Club, recently presented at the Singapore Convention on Health, Fitness and Sports.
​
During the presentation, Alan shared with the participants his experience in coaching, and also how he has managed to kept his trainees and players motivated, and in peak performance, throughout the course of the season.
​
Mr. Ma has also kindly agreed to provide these slides to participants of SCHFS, and all individuals who are interested in this topic.
Accumulating Evidence for Physical Activity and Prostrate Cancer Survival
Paper published by Professor Robert Newton from Edith Cowan University in European Urology on the link between physical activity, and lowering overall mortality rate.
